Elton John is celebrating a major milestone as his 1973 holiday classic, "Step into Christmas," continues to dominate the airwaves. The legendary singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share his excitement after the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) officially certified the track Platinum.
Posing with his new plaques, the 78-year-old called it a "special Christmas present," noting that the song is also 4× Platinum in the UK. Even five decades after its debut, the track remains a holiday staple, peaking at No. 9 on the UK charts this year. To keep the magic alive for a new generation, Elton recently released a reimagined music video featuring Cara Delevingne channeling his iconic 70s style.
